We stay off the television for half a day, and THIS is what happens? Our son has been saying, for over a year, that the United States was heading toward another civil war, but we thought he was being hyperbolic. Now, we're beginning to wonder. Thirteen domestic terrorists were arrested for plotting to kidnap and murder the governor of Michigan to foment a civil war?!!!

Once upon a time, I belonged to a left-wing egalitarian Conservative synagogue, where I was one of a number of women who wore a tallit—and one of the few members who used an Orthodox prayer book (adding the Mothers, of course). Having moved since then, I now belong to a right-wing traditional Conservative synagogue, where I’m almost always the only woman wearing a tallit—and one of the few members who adds the Mothers. I seem destined to be forever . . . on the fringe.

That's probably spontaneous action from the extremist wing. What I'm more concerned about is a good old fashioned purge of the opposition.
Oh, brother. Emperor Donald will stoop to anything to get rid of an opponent, be the opponent one who's currently challenging him (Biden) or one whom he's already defeated (Hillary Clinton). :(
